Hi. I'm reading Kings and Queens of Britain now. This is a book about king and queen of Britain. The queen opens parliament every year. A lot of people watch the queen on TV. In parliament she speaks, and all the important people listen to her. She wears a beautiful dress and crown on her head. She is an important women. The year 1066 is famous for English people because 3 people came to England to fight. They were wanted to be king. The most important man in England was Harold Godwinsson. Also, King Henry VⅠⅠⅠ　was born in 1491. Do you know him? I know him because I learned about him in class of circumstance of Britain. He married with 6 women in his life. He loved singing and reading and writing. So he went to church three or four times every day. He died in 1547. He was fifty six years old. And he was old and fat and ill. Elizabeth Ⅰ was one of England's most famous queens. She had a very difficult time in her young. She lost her mother because her mother wasn't blessed with baby. Her mother was killed by king Henry. And her sister Mary became queen and Elizabeth was in prison. A lot of people wanted to kill her. I felt she is a pitiable girl. Queen Elizabeth ⅠⅠ was born in 1926. And she was Queen in 1952. She was twenty five then. Today she is a grandmother. She often visits England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland because she is queen of them. Most people there want her to be queen. She meets a lot of people, and She talks and listen to them. No one is afraid of her. People think she is important woman because they people like her so much.
